* This text is a revision and update of previous works (Lomas, 2007, 2008, 2011a, 2011b). The title is a quote by Gabriel García Márquez, from Vivir para contarla (2002, p. 118).
However, "we are already the oblivion that we will be", as perhaps Jorge Luis Borges1 wrote some decades ago. Forgetting is often an incantation against what is uncomfortable, a therapy against the cruelty of the past and an antidote against the blinding light of memories. Hence, there are those who argue in favor of the advantages of forgetting when it comes to attenuating the ingratitude of the present and facing the uncertain future with a certain illusion. However, whether we like it or not, we are memory. What we are and what we know is woven with the threads of recollection and memory. We are what we know, yes, but perhaps we only know who we are when we hear the echo of the voices of yesterday, when we look back without anger (or with anger) and inquire into the distant time of that childhood and adolescence in which chance and will conspired to make our life what it is today to a large extent2.
And what do you read? Minotauromaquia: poetry and disillusionment.
And I've already said that the times I've made records like this, I've been on tour working with them. Otherwise, no, because I have never been a lover of doing this. It can be bad for you. I tell you something. You make the record and then all the others learn from what you... you have some inspirations and then the others learn from them.
I've never liked to play, just to (????). But of course, I say: to play bulerías for that guy, I have to do something for him every time. Anyway, I made some falsetas and then when I went to (????) what formed the falsetas. So I improvised them, I improvised them there.
-Siguiriyero has been the one who has transmitted the most of all. The one who has touched the soul the most of all those who have sung siguiriyas has been Manuel Torre. Manuel Torre sang the cantes de Jerez. Not the cantes de Triana, cantes de Jerez. But, my friend, he sang them in a way... that transmitted more... so much voice he had and expressed and the soul he put into them. But he wasn't long, he wasn't long singing. Tomás was long.

Guy Ritchie has become a stale and repetitive filmmaker, like a couple of decades ago, to some. But his fans still don't miss his entertaining thrillers full of action, comedy and charismatic casts. Here Jason Statham, Aubrey Plaza or Hugh Grant, among others, stand out.
It's clear that if there's anyone with the makings of a movie star in the Sex Education cast, it's Emma Mackey, and we're not just saying that because of her resemblance to brunette Margot Robbie. Judging by the reviews, it seems that it will be this biopic, in which she plays Emily Bronte, young author of Wuthering Heights, in which she will make that leap.
There are many people who seem to resent the fact that Eduardo Casanova makes movies. But perhaps that problem for some is not only him. The truth is that the author of Pieles does not make films for everyone, and we are glad he does. The first previews of his second film assure us that it will leave no one indifferent.
The director of Oldboy and Chinese star Tang Wei lead this brilliant Korean crime thriller that won the Best Director Award at the Cannes Film Festival. The title of the possible "new Parasites" is inevitable.
